CELEBRATE 904 DAY

a special day celebrating the 904

The 904 area code covers nearly all of Northeast Florida, from the shores of Fernandina Beach to the historic sites of St. Augustine, and from the skyscrapers of Downtown Jacksonville to the ever-growing counties surrounding the Bold City. This year, local residents are encouraged to stay in the region for the holiday weekend and invite their loved ones to visit and enjoy all of their favorite local spots to eat, drink, shop and explore leading up to 904 Day.

904 Day has been celebrated as a grassroots movement for several years, with Northeast Florida residents, organizations and companies alike showing their support by tagging posts with #904Day on September 4. In 2021, a collective effort to amplify the concept was launched by representatives from WJCT Public Media, Downtown Vision, Inc., the JAX Chamber, Visit Jacksonville, the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Wingard. Additional partners who have committed to 904 Day since then include Build Up Downtown, the Downtown Investment Authority, the Jax Daily Record and 904 Happy Hour. 

JAX TACO & TEQUILA FEST

SEPTEMBER 2 & 3 (Labor Day Weekend)

 Jacksonville Taco & Tequila Fest is happening Labor Day Weekend in downtown Jax!

For two special days, Met Park will be transformed into an experience unlike anything the city has ever seen! Guests can expect mouth-watering tacos & Mexican street fare from over 40 restaurants, food trucks & culinary teams from around the city as well nationally recognized musicians & performers you won't want to miss.

This year's festival layout will feature several immersive entertainment, art & taco zones, an impressive Daily's Main Stage, internationally acclaimed musicians, and tented seating areas + shade zones on the riverwalk. FREE water & mist zones will also be available for festival goers sponsored by Radifi Credit Union plus there will be a enhanced Tequila & Craft Margarita experience, waterfront Artisan Market, Football Tailgate Village, live muralists, salsa & dance classes, games, and more!

The Grand Sampling Experience will feature an exclusive, curated sampling of over 100 unique tequilas including representation from 40+ distillers & makers of craft tequila. Guests will also enjoy upgraded, all day hospitality at a two story, private lounge, air conditioned restrooms, limited edition, engraved crystal sampling glass + more

The festival is a fundraiser for several local Jacksonville nonprofits benefiting the arts, community enrichment and education here on the First Coast and over $115,000 was raised for Jacksonville nonprofits as a result of the 2022 Jacksonville Taco and Tequila Festival.

904 DAY CLEAN UP

Monday, September 4, 10 AM- 2 PM at Metropolitan Park

Bring a friend and join the community on 904 Day to help keep Metropolitan Park waste and debris free! Trash bags, gloves, and cleaning supplies will be provided.

NINE-O-FOUR DAY CONCERT

Celebrate Labor Day and all things DUUUVAL at 9.04 DAY w/ Pimp Trizkit (Limp Bizkit Tribute) / The Valley Ghouls / Tonal PLUS the Hidden Hills School Bus Stage hosting Rotating DJs. Duval drink specials all night on local beers and spirits! Doors open at 6pm & all ages are welcome
